April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month—a time to celebrate the dedicated individuals who generously give their time to enrich our schools and support student learning. One such volunteer is Sara Gabriel, an employee with the Tri-State Steelheaders in Walla Walla.

The energy was high at Edison Elementary on Wednesday night, April 23, as the annual district-wide Battle of the Books (BOB) came to a thrilling conclusion. The Green Park Panthers clinched the championship title for the second consecutive year, showcasing their reading knowledge and teamwork in a fun and spirited competition.
